The incident occurred at Mararaban Ida village, according to an eyewitness named Saidu Ibrahim.

“The Golf driver was coming from Abuja axis fully loaded with orange and other fruits heading to Gidan Abe village, when the Highlander jeep coming on speed over at a sharp after the diversion and collided with the golf,” Ibrahim said.
Upon arrival at the scene, two corpses from the Golf car were seen lying by the roadside, while some Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) officials struggled to remove the driver, who was trapped inside the car.
The seven injured victims were rushed to the General Hospital in Sabon Wuse.
An FRSC official involved in the rescue operation stated that the three corpses had been identified by relatives of the deceased and handed over to them.
Road accidents are a common occurrence on Nigerian highways, and the FRSC has urged motorists to drive with caution and observe traffic regulations to prevent accidents.
The FRSC has also urged drivers to avoid overspeeding, drunk driving, and other reckless driving practices.
The FRSC has also emphasized the importance of wearing seatbelts and ensuring that vehicles are roadworthy and in good condition.
The FRSC has also urged passengers to speak out against drivers who engage in reckless driving practices, as this can help prevent accidents and save lives.
