Amaju Pinnick, former president of the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF), recently drew the attention of Nigerians to his recent misunderstanding with popular Afrobeats star, Davido.
Pinnick revealed that Davido breached their contract of $94,000 after failing to turn up for his concert in Warri.
In a viral statement, Pinnick expressed his disappointment with Davido and even compared him to his colleague, Burna Boy.
The former NFF president publicly called out Davido for breaking his contract with his entertainment firm during his event, ‘Warri Again.’
Pinnick mentioned that he had sent Davido $94,000 and even chartered a jet for him and his staff for $18,000, but they never showed up.
This, in turn, affected the quality of his show. As a result, Davido was replaced by up-and-coming rapper Shallipopi.
Furthermore, Pinnick criticized Davido for his egotistical behaviour by holding up Burna Boy as an example of someone superior to him in the industry.
