Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the first of three transfers by loaning out Djed Spence to French side Rennes until the end of the season.
The right-wing back had joined Spurs from Middlesbrough last summer, but with manager Antonio Conte keen to make other changes, Levy has been forced to sanction his exit.
So far, Spence has managed just six appearances in all competitions and now joins fellow Tottenham loanee Joe Rodon in France.
Rennes haven’t got an option to buy him on a permanent deal in the summer, however.
Atletico Madrid is expected to be his next destination on deadline day, again on loan without any obligation or option for a permanent move.
Meanwhile, Spurs navigate for a replacement for Spence and Doherty as they close in on Pedro Porro from Sporting Lisbon who already completed his medical and is set to join the London club until June 2028.
