Isaac Fayose, the younger brother of a former Ekiti State governor, has alleged that Nyesom Wike of Rivers State is working to secure a presidential victory for the All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu in the 2023 election.
Wike and the G-5 governors have been advocating for a southerner to be elected as the PDP’s national chairman rather than Atiku Abubakar.
In a recent Facebook post, Fayose stated that in order to get strong voter numbers in SS, MD (especially Plateau, Benue), Ondo, Lagos, Kaduna and Taraba states; SE needs to show support massively.
He further alleged that Tinubu was playing a victim role in Southwestern Nigeria which was yielding positive results for his campaign.
