Sani Dangote, a notorious bandit operating in North-West Nigeria, has been reportedly killed in a deadly clash with a rival gang in Zamfara state.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday, April 7, in Dunmurun, Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara state.
Dangote, who was declared wanted by Nigerian security agents in November 2022, was gunned down alongside his two brothers and some of his fighters by another terrorist, Kachalla Dankarami.
The clash was triggered by the rustling of cattle, which led to a confrontation between the two groups.
Sani Dangote had been a notorious figure, terrorizing sections of Zamfara and Katsina states.
His death in the gun battle with Dankarami’s gang marks a significant blow to the criminal activities in the region.
