Battle for Senate Minority Leader APC Loyalists Stand in PDP's Way

Former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, has reportedly been in talks with the leadership of the Senate to become the minority leader, a move that would create a strong opposition for the new administration.

Tambuwal was seen leaving the Senate wing of the National Assembly in the convoy of Senator Akpabio, along with other senators.

However, Tambuwal and seven other senators from the minority political parties have warned against attempts to destabilise the minority parties in the Senate and impose a pliant and compromised leadership on them.

Senate President, Senator Akpabio, has said that the 10th National Assembly will partner with the President Tinubu-led administration to change policies inhibiting the progress and development of the country.
