Bayern Munich, the German Bundesliga champions, have shifted their focus to Napoli and Nigeria international Victor Osimhen after failed negotiations with Tottenham Hotspur for Harry Kane.
According to reports, Bayern Munich has halted talks with Tottenham after the Premier League club rejected a £70 million offer and demanded £90 million for Kane.
Instead, Bayern Munich is considering making a bid for Osimhen, offering more than €100 million for the Nigerian striker.
The report suggests that Bayern Munich sees Osimhen as a better investment, as he is younger than Kane, who will turn 30 soon.
However, it remains to be seen if Napoli will accept a €100 million offer for Osimhen, as they had previously rejected a similar offer from Paris Saint Germain.
If Osimhen joins Bayern Munich, he will reunite with his teammate Kim, who has already agreed to personal terms with the Bundesliga club.
