President Muhammadu Buhari will be joining the All Progressives Congress’s Presidential Campaign Council on a 10-state tour leading up to the February 25 presidential election.
On Friday, the council released an updated schedule, stating that Buhari has agreed to physically accompany APC standard bearer Bola Tinubu in rallies in states such as Adamawa (January 9), Yobe (January 10), Kwara (January 17), Ogun (January 25), Cross Rivers (January 30), Nasarawa (February 4), Katsina(February 6) Imo (February 14).
The campaign is set to culminate in a grand finale slated for Lagos state on February 18, at which President Buhari is expected to make an appearance.
In a statement, Festus Keyamo of the campaign council thanked Buhari for his “stellar and inspirational leadership” and implored party supporters to come out in full force for the remaining rallies.
