Milan and Villarreal have made significant progress in terms of offer and valuation, with the Rossoneri management reaching an almost complete agreement with the Spanish club.
The reported amount for the transfer is around €25-28m, including bonuses.
Villarreal is aware of the player’s desire to leave and the need to sell him to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year, making them inclined to accept the offer.
Milan’s goal is to finalize the deal as quickly as possible and provide coach Stefano Pioli with the winger he has personally requested.
