Code of Conduct Bureau Commissioner Dies in Fatal Accident

Faruq Umar, the Federal Commissioner representing the Northeast region in the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), has tragically passed away in a road accident.

The accident occurred on the Jakusko-Gashu’a highway while Umar was returning from a condolence visit to Jakusko town.

The late Umar was 52 years old and is survived by two wives and six children.

The Deputy Governor of Yobe State, Idi Barde Gubana, attended the funeral prayer of the late CCB Commissioner and offered condolences to his family and the people of Bade LGA.
