Despite collapsing during training just two days prior, Colombia star Linda Caicedo made a remarkable comeback and scored a goal of the tournament contender against Germany at the Women’s World Cup.

After being rushed to the hospital via ambulance, Caicedo was not expected to play in the game.

However, she was named in the starting lineup and showcased her skills by picking up the ball in the Germany box, shifting it onto her right foot, and curling a shot into the top corner.

Distressing footage of her collapse showed Caicedo clutching her chest before falling to the ground.

She lost consciousness but later regained it after being placed on a stretcher.

Despite her previous health struggles, including a battle with ovarian cancer, Caicedo has shown resilience and determination in her career.

She made her professional debut at the age of 14 and underwent six months of chemotherapy before being declared cancer-free.

Now playing for Real Madrid, Caicedo’s goal in the Women’s World Cup is a testament to her strength and perseverance.
