The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, February 14, 2023, apprehended 38-year-old Salman Umar Hudu of Kano State at a hotel in Abuja.

He had been pretending to be the EFCC chairman Abdulrasheed Bawa and demanding N100,000 from someone for his services.

On apprehending him, investigations have been launched and the suspect may be charged to court for providing useful information.
