Enyimba FC, the champions of the Nigeria Premier League, have made the decision to terminate the contract of their head coach, George Finidi.
Finidi had recently led the team to their ninth NPL title, but the club has decided to make changes to their technical crew.
In a statement signed by the sporting director, Ifeanyi Ekwueme, the club has directed all coaches to re-apply for their positions within 48 hours.
This decision comes after the appointment of former Super Eagles captain, Nwankwo Kanu, as the new chairman of the club.
Kanu and Finidi were former teammates at Dutch club, Ajax Amsterdam.
