Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the member representing Ikeja Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, James Faleke as Secretary of his Presidential Campaign Council.

Faleke, whose appointment was confirmed on Thursday, has been a close ally of the former Governor of Lagos, often on his entourage to political meetings across Nigeria.

The Kogi-born politician started his political career as an Executive Secretary of a Local Government and became a two-term Chairman of Ojodu Ojodu Local Council Development Area (LCDA) between 2004 and 2010.

He was a first-term member of the House of Representatives from 2011-2015, before being re-elected in 2015 after serving as the Lagos State Coordinator of Muhammadu Buhari/Yemi Osinbajo Campaign Organization.

Faleke is currently serving his third term in the Green chamber.

Last week, Tinubu appointed legal luminary, Festus Keyamo, as the official spokesperson of his presidential campaign organisation.

The presidential hopeful also recently named Simon Lalong, the Governor of Plateau State, as the Director-General (DG) of his campaign organisation.
