Femi Falana, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has declared that it will be arduous for Governor Ademola Adeleke’s legal representatives to challenge the judgement delivered by the Osun State Governorship Election Tribunal.
The tribunal had ruled that Adeleke should be removed from office for overvoting at more than 700 polling units and Adegboyega Oyetola was proclaimed as the victor of the July 16 2022 gubernatorial election.
During an interview on Arise TV on Sunday, Falana suggested voters of Osun State seek redress against INEC (Independent National Electoral Commission) as their votes were invalidated.
He further said that INEC must put its house in order or all consequences may be catastrophic if this occurred in a presidential election.
