Ferran Torres is staying put at Barcelona despite recent transfer buzz linking him to Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr — www.naijnaira.com reports.
Al-Nassr recently sealed a deal for Inigo Martinez, which sparked talk that Torres might follow.
According to Fabrizio Romano via John Menzies’ report, there have been “zero talks” between Torres and Al-Nassr.
Romano stressed, “Al Nassr are not working on Ferran Torres deal… Ferran’s only focused on Barça.”
The Saudi club is instead pushing to secure Kingsley Coman within the next two days.
Torres enjoyed an impressive season with 19 goals and seven assists despite mostly coming off the bench.
His output made him one of Hansi Flick’s most dependable impact players.
With Marcus Rashford joining and Robert Lewandowski’s fitness uncertain, Torres’ role is set to grow.
Barcelona still expect one more senior player exit this summer, but Torres will not be that name.
