From Warning to Reality: Osimhen Reportedly Set To Become Most Expensive Nigerian Player Following Move To Chelsea

In spite of the warnings from manager Graham Potter, Chelsea’s owners have decided to set out £110m for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen.

Potter warned that another striker does not guarantee goals, using the example of Romelu Lukaku from when he moved to Chelsea 18 months ago.

Todd Boehly and Co are keen to find a proven goalscorer that can lead the side, and are ready to break their transfer record again if they sign Osimhen.

After the disappointing 0-0 draw against Fulham at the weekend, Potter highlighted how Lukaku’s move did not fix all their issues and the team needs to work on attacking better as one.
