Joao Palhinha has signed a new contract with Fulham that does not include a release clause.
The midfielder will now be tied to Craven Cottage until 2028.
This comes after a failed transfer to Bayern Munich on deadline day, where a deal worth €65m fell through due to Fulham’s inability to sign a replacement in time.
In addition, Fulham rejected a £45m offer from West Ham for Palhinha in July.
The Portugal international joined Fulham in 2022 from Sporting Lisbon for £20m and has been a key player for the team, making 35 appearances in the Premier League last season.
Palhinha expressed his happiness and commitment to Fulham, stating that he is ready to give his all and achieve good things with the club.
