A faction of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo organization has claimed that Nigeria will not experience a military incursion without the approval of the North.

The group issued this warning to President Bola Tinubu, citing recent coup waves in Francophone African countries as a sign of the dangers of fraudulent election results, bad governance, and the imposition of aging African Presidents.

The factional Secretary-General of Ohanaeze, Okechukwu Isiguzoro, alleged that the Northern leadership is dissatisfied with Tinubu’s presidency and is waiting for the verdict of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal on September 16th, 2023, to determine their course of action.

Isiguzoro also claimed that the Northern leadership prevented Tinubu’s planned invasion of Niger Republic through the Northern Senators, traditional rulers, and elder statesmen who are unhappy with his leadership style and appointments in the Southwest.

Ohanaeze also commended the Nigerian Military for their loyalty to Tinubu and their commitment to upholding Nigerian Democracy.
