Buba Galadima, a prominent figure in the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has dismissed rumors that Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso is planning to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Galadima made this statement in response to claims by APC National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, who suggested Kwankwaso might return to the ruling party.
Galadima emphasized that the NNPP is committed to guiding Nigerians with clear insights into its principles, focusing on responsive governance. He also noted that only politically unsuccessful individuals tend to speculate about future elections while still in office.
Addressing Ganduje’s comments, Galadima questioned how someone like him could hold a position like APC National Chairman. He stated, “Only Tinubu can make Ganduje the party chairman.”
Galadima went on to criticize Ganduje for attempting to use the NNPP for media attention. He claimed that Ganduje’s statements were simply a bid for visibility at the opposition party’s expense.
The NNPP chieftain further noted that Ganduje’s remarks were part of a pattern in which the APC uses social media and propaganda to tarnish the opposition. Galadima suggested that if they didn’t claim that Kwankwaso was working for President Tinubu, they would instead spread rumors about him lobbying in France.
