Georgina Rodriguez, the partner of football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, recently revealed that they took a break from their relationship due to her father’s sudden cardiac arrest.
The Argentine model, who has two children with Ronaldo, met him in 2016 and their relationship briefly stopped in 2016 when her father suffered a severe stroke.
In her Netflix series “I Am Georgina,” Rodriguez shared that she was absent and sad during that time, but Ronaldo asked her out to dinner and they reconnected.
“Cristiano had a lot of games, the thing with my father also happened then. I was a little absent, well I was sad and one day, we ran into each other at another event and he asked me for dinner… I thought: ‘Finally, my chance has come,” She said via Daily Post
Ronaldo had previously confirmed the break in their relationship.
