The Governorship Election Petition Tribunal has released its verdict on the March 18 governorship elections, with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) emerging victorious in 11 states, the All Progressives Congress (APC) in 10 states, and the Labour Party (LP) in 1 state.
The APC secured victories in Gombe, Cross River, Benue, Lagos, Kano, Ogun, Ebonyi, Kaduna, Kebbi, and Sokoto.
The PDP emerged victorious in Plateau, Zamfara, Bauchi, Enugu, Nasarawa, Delta, Akwa Ibom, Taraba, Oyo, Adamawa, and Rivers.
The LP won in Abia.
The remaining six states are still awaiting judgment from their respective tribunals, including Borno, Jigawa, Katsina, Kwara, Niger, and Yobe.
