A tragic shooting in Cleveland, Texas has left five people dead, including an eight-year-old boy and a teenage girl.
The suspect, 38-year-old Francisco Oropeza, allegedly began firing rounds in his yard, disturbing his neighbors who were trying to sleep.
When they asked him to stop, Oropeza reportedly used an AR-style rifle to fatally shoot his neighbors.
The police have been searching for Oropeza, who fled towards a nearby forest and remains at large.
The search has included the use of scent-tracking dogs and an overhead drone.
The shooting is just one of at least 18 incidents in the US this year where four or more people were killed in a single shooting.
Texas has also been the site of several major mass shootings in recent years, including the 2019 El Paso Walmart shooting and the 2017 shooting at a church in Sutherland Springs.
