Haaland Granted Leave by Man City Following Death of Close Friend

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland has been given the option to miss the upcoming clash against Brentford due to the tragic death of his close friend, Ivar Eggja.

Eggja was a long-time friend of Haaland’s father, Alfie, and had been a mentor to Erling throughout his rise to football stardom. Both Haalands affectionately called him “uncle.”

Haaland has scored seven goals already this season, including two consecutive hat-tricks and is considering taking a break after Eggja’s passing.

He paid tribute to Eggja on social media, describing him as a “legend” and thanking him for his support.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has made it clear that Haaland’s well-being is the priority and will allow him to sit out the game if needed.

Meanwhile, Phil Foden has returned to training after recovering from illness, and Guardiola is expected to provide an update on Nathan Ake, who was injured during the Netherlands’ recent international fixture.
