iPhone 11 Specs & Review
It is the least expensive phone in the new range. Its peculiarity is the great variety of colors in which it is available: black, green, yellow, purple, red and white.
It is also the only iPhone in the new line up to have only two rear cameras and a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina display. For these reasons it is considered in all respects the successor of the iPhone XR.
As for features, it has dimensions of 150.9 mm x 75.7 mm x 8.3 mm, and weighs 194 grams. It is water resistant thanks to IP68 protection (this means that it can be immersed in water and survive up to 2 meters deep).
This year Apple has focused a lot on the camera. For the first time, even the cheapest iPhone can count on dual cameras. It has a 12 MP camera with a 26 mm lens combined with a 12 MP ultra wide lens with 120 ° field of view.
A novelty concerns the photos taken in dark or low light conditions: the night mode starts automatically in these cases to improve the brightness and reduce the noise, for a quite impressive result (very similar to the Google Pixel Night Sight).
As for videos, it includes 4K, slow motion and time lapse recording. On paper, Apple has also improved image stabilization, and claims to have offered the highest quality video recording on a smartphone.
The internal camera is TrueDepth with 12MP lens and supports 4K video recording. The chipset inside it is A13 Bionic and to demonstrate its potential, Apple showed some video games during the keynote.
Its battery last an hour longer than that of the iPhone XR, but Apple never announces the exact dimensions of its batteries.
This new iPhone range which has an improved Face ID, is available in memory sizes of 64 GB, 128 GB and 256 GB.
11 Pro Specs & Review
It is the intermediate model of the new line, descendant of the iPhone XS. Aesthetically it is very similar to the top class of last year, except for the rear camera enclosed in a raised square solid.
Also, it is available in 3 storage formats: 64 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB, and in 4 colors: dark green, sidereal gray, silver and gold. The device has a rear shell in opaque glass and edge in polished inex steel. The flagship of the new 11 Pro is the triple rear camera so characterized.
- 12 megapixel wide-angle sensor, ƒ / 1.8
- Ultra-wide 12 megapixel sensor, 2.4 / 2.4 with a 120-degree field of view
- 12 megapixel telephoto lens, 2.0 / 2.0
The most eye-catching feature of the 11 Pro camera is the Deep Fusion feature, which lets you take nine pictures with a single click of the shutter.
The system will choose the best bits and combine them to form the best possible shot. Even the night mode will be activated automatically in low light conditions, and the portrait mode in the camera of selfies (from 12 MP and focal length ƒ / 2.2).
It has a Super Retina XDR 2436 x 1125 5.8-inch and 458 ppi display. It incorporates a new OLED panel and supports HDR10 and Dolby Vision in HDR.
Turning to the battery, on the card the new device should offer 4 hours more autonomy than the XS. The phone is sold with an 18W quick charge adapter and a Lightning USB-C cable.
The models in the Pro range are powered by Apple’s new A13 Bionic chip, presented as the most efficient chip so far. A13 Bionic uses the second generation of the 7nm processor and has a total of 18 cores: a 6-core CPU, a 4-core GPU and an 8-core Neural Engine for the management of machine learning processes.
In essence, Apple’s new chip opens the door to powerful new features such as 4K video at 60 fps in slow motion and excellent overall performance, from basic activities to mobile video games.
11 Pro Max Specs & Review
It is the non plus ultra of the entire iPhone range. Absolutely the most expensive (the 512 GB model is almost 1,860 USD), it was designed for users who want the most sophisticated technology.
The device has the same functions and features as the 11 Pro, but with an increase screen size. Specifically, a 6.5-inch screen.
It is also available in 4 colors, 3 memory cuts, and has a triple camera. These cameras work in perfect harmony to provide even brighter and more defined photos and portraits.
The camera has new features and effects thanks to iOS 13, like the new High Key B / W Light effect for professional quality monochrome shots and the ability to switch from photo to video mode without changing modes, but simply by holding down the shooting.
With the 11 Pro, Apple introduces the slofie, that is the videoselfie in slow motion at 120 fps.

If you are still unsure of which of the 11s to order for, then we urge you to keep reading as we try to analyze the differences and similarities between these three Apple devices.
The design of the 11, 11 Pro and the Max version are very similar. On the front there are no major changes compared to the latest versions: very large notch with sensors for the Face ID and the camera inside.
At the back, Apple has brought an important new feature: the photographic sensors have been inserted inside a square bumper, slightly raised above the body of the device.
A stylistic innovation that has not been much appreciated by Apple fans, but that has brought a breath of freshness. The main difference between the three devices is the screen size.
One of the factors that can make you lean towards the 11 rather than others is the screen.
The 11 is equipped with an LCD display, while 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max are an OLED screen that guarantees greater contrast and brightness.
Let’s move on to the dimensions.
- 11 – 6.1 inches
- 11 Pro – 5.8 inches
- 11 Pro Max – 6.5 inches.
Needless to specify that the screen mounted on the 11 Pro guarantees a better view of the contents.
There are no major differences in the performance of the three iPhone 11s , since all models are equipped with the Bionic A13 chipset , capable of driving up to a trillion processes per second.
On the amount of RAM, all three of the latest Apple devices come with 4GB of ram each.
There are differences, however, with regard to internal memory.
The 11 was built in three different versions: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. The 11 Pro and Pro Max start at 64GB and reach up to 512GB of storage space. But they don’t have the 128GB version.
The photographic compartment of the three smartphones differs only in the presence / absence of the 12 Megapixel telephoto lens . Infact, the 11, 11 Pro and Max all have 12 Megapixel main sensor and 12 Megapixel wide-angle lens.
The two Pro devices also have a 12 Megapixel telephoto lens that allows you to take highly defined images even with a 5x zoom.
Last year, the iPhone XR offered the longest battery life ever in an iPhone, one of the main factors that characterized its sales success, in addition to being the cheapest.
This year, however, Apple wanted to outdo itself, infact, the 11 and 11 Pro and Max have even better autonomy.
For the iPhone XR, Apple declared 25 hours of talk time, 15 hours of Internet use, 16 hours of video playback and up to 65 hours of audio playback.
The 11, which is the successor to the iPhone XR, Apple declares up to 17 hours of video playback and up to 65 hours of audio playback, so you will be able to get a maximum of 1 hour more video viewing, thanks to the 3110 mAh battery, slightly larger than the 2942 mAh of the iPhone XR.
For the 5.8-inch 11 Pro, Apple claims up to 18 hours of video playback, two hours longer than the iPhone XR, and up to 65 hours of audio playback.
This is a significant improvement compared to the iPhone XS, in fact it goes from a 2658 mAh battery (iPhone Xs) to a well 3190 mAh battery of the new model.
For 11 Pro Max of the iPhones, video playback shifts to 20 hours, while audio playback reaches a maximum of 80 hours.
Also in this case it is a significant improvement compared to the iPhone XS Max, in fact we go from a 3174 mAh battery (iPhone Xs Max) to a 3500 mAh battery of the new model.
But how will we recharge the new iPhones? In the package we will still find a 5W charger on the 11, while 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max now come with an 18W USB-C charger with a Lightning USB cable, which can recharge the battery at 50% in about 30 minutes.
The 11 is IP68 certified and can be used for half an hour up to a depth of 2 meters. The 11 Pro and Pro Max received the same IP68 certification but lasted for half an hour up to a depth of 4 meters.
The 11 is available in six colors: white, black, green, yellow, purple and PRODUCT (RED). The Pro and Pro Max are available in four colors: sidereal gray, silver, night green and gold.
