The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has announced the extension of its 2023 UTME registration until Wednesday, February 22nd taking into consideration the difficulties faced by many Nigerians in purchasing ePINs or obtaining cash within the designated period.
The Board had previously set a closing date for registration taking place on Tuesday, February 14th but with the added week, over 1.5 million candidates have successfully registered for the 2023 UTME exercise up to this point including 168,748 who showed interest in the Mock-UTME.
To ensure all desiring candidates have access to registering for the exam, JAMB has expanded their capacity per day up to 100,000.
Acknowledging reports from across the country expressing issues in using electronic channels, JAMB granted this extension to give opportunity to those candidates.
