Jimmy Odukoya, the son of Bimbo and Taiwo Odukoya, has been appointed as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church. This announcement was made during a church service on Sunday.
Rotimi Okpaise, a pastor, informed the congregation that the late Taiwo Odukoya had shared his succession plan with the board of trustees (BoT) before his passing.
The BoT unanimously elected Jimmy as the senior pastor and chairperson of the board.
The installation ceremony for Jimmy is scheduled for September 30, 2023.
It is worth noting that Jimmy’s father, the founder of the church, passed away on August 7 at the age of 67, less than two years after losing his wife, Nomthi, to cancer.
Jimmy, in addition to being a pastor, is also a Nigerian actor and musician, known for his roles in movies such as ‘Woman King‘ on Netflix.
He is also a motivational speaker.
