FULL List of the 21 Aides Abia State Governor Alex Otti has Appointed

Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has announced the appointment of ten special advisers, nine senior special assistants, and two special assistants.

The appointments were made to various key positions, including finance, legal matters, education, petroleum and energy, agriculture, internally generated revenue, Aba rejuvenation, public communication, local government and chieftaincy affairs, planning and strategy, digital economy and SME, policies and interventions, vulnerable groups and poverty alleviation, special duties, strategic communication, youth and sports development, domestic affairs, legislative matters, security, and trade and commerce.

Notable appointments include Michael Akpara as the Special Adviser on Finance, Uwanna Ikechukwu as the Senior Special Assistant on Legal Matters, and Uche Eme Uche as the Special Adviser on Education.

These appointments follow the recent nomination of eight officials by Governor Otti, including Prof. Kenneth Kalu as the Secretary to the State Government and Caleb Ajagba as the Chief of Staff.

  10. Uzor Nwachukwu – Special Adviser on Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
  11. Kingsley Anosike – Special Adviser on Planning and Strategy
  12. Uzoma Nwagba – Senior Special Assistant on Digital Economy and SME
  13. Rev. Father Christian Uche Anokwuru – Special Adviser on Policies and Interventions
  14. Ifeoma Thomas – Special Assistant on Vulnerable Groups and Poverty Alleviation
  15. Dike Nwankwo – Senior Special Assistant for Special Duties
  16. Okey Kanu – Special Adviser on Strategic Communication
  17. Betty Emeka-Obasi – Senior Special Assistant for Special Duties
  18. Chinedu Ekeke – Senior Special Assistant for Youth and Sports Development
  19. Chuka Ofili – Senior Special Assistant for Domestic Affairs
