Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has given an update on the team’s injuries ahead of their upcoming match against Arsenal.
Luis Diaz, who has been out of action since October due to a knee injury, is making progress in his recovery but the team is being cautious with his return.
Thiago Alcantara, who has been sidelined since February with a hip injury, was seen training on Thursday and may be available for the match.
Virgil van Dijk, who missed the team’s last match due to illness, is back in training and available for selection.
Klopp stated that Diaz is likely to be held out of the Arsenal match but should be fully available for the following game against Leeds.
As for Thiago, he may be able to play but the team will make a decision closer to the match.
