LAUTECH, located in Ogbomoso, has recently implemented a new policy that prohibits students from driving or bringing cars onto campus.

The decision was made during a management meeting on March 22, 2023, and was communicated to students via a memo from the Registrar, Dr. K.A. Ogunleye.

The memo outlines several rules, including a ban on vehicles owned by students, a requirement for all vehicles to have registration numbers, and a prohibition on roadside parking.

Additionally, unauthorized vehicles parked on campus will be removed by university security.

The memo also states that tinted vehicles used by staff and students are no longer allowed, and beginner drivers must display a learner permit on their vehicles.
