Lawyer Explains the Legality of Cute Abiola's Use of Police Uniform in Skits

Here Is The Easy Money-Making Trick Everyone Is Talking About! Learn More Here!

Inibehe Effiong, a human rights lawyer, has stated that the use of police uniforms by skit maker Cute Abiola for entertainment purposes is not illegal.

This comes after the Force Public Relations Officer announced that Cute Abiola would be prosecuted for violating the law regarding the use of uniforms.

However, Effiong disagrees with this statement, arguing that entertainers globally use military and police uniforms for their art and craft.

He also suggests that if the skit accurately reflects the police’s mode of operation, it would be difficult to prove contempt.

Effiong advises the police to focus on eradicating corruption within the system rather than pursuing this case, as the offense carries a minimal punishment.

He also highlights the need for a clear definition of what constitutes a “police uniform” and the burden of proof in criminal litigation.
