After failed attempts from Liverpool and Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain star Marco Verratti is set to sign for Al Arabi in Qatar.

The 30-year-old midfielder has been with PSG since 2012 and has been a key player in their success.

However, with the current manager not including him in his long-term plans, Verratti was allowed to talk to other clubs.

While there were rumors of a potential move to Saudi Arabia, it seems that the transfer to Qatar will soon be completed.

The deal is reported to be worth €45m, and Verratti is expected to travel to Doha in the next 24 hours to finalize the agreement.

This signing will be a significant addition for Al Arabi and a boost for the Qatar Stars League.
