Liverpool is reportedly interested in signing Dutch midfielder Ryan Gravenberch, who has been pictured wearing the club’s shirt.
With Jurgen Klopp admitting that the club cannot afford Borussia Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham, Liverpool is exploring other options for midfielders.
Gravenberch, who has struggled for game time at Bayern Munich this season, has emerged as a viable option.
The 20-year-old joined Bayern from Ajax last summer for £21 million but is behind Joshua Kimmich and Leon Goretzka in the pecking order.
Bayern is reportedly open to selling Gravenberch for around £25 million.
Fans have been encouraged by a photo of Gravenberch wearing a Liverpool shirt from the 2019/20 season, reportedly given to him by former Liverpool defender Ki-Jana Hoever.
Liverpool is also monitoring other midfielders, including Chelsea’s Mason Mount and Leicester’s Youri Tielemans.
Klopp emphasized that the club has to work within its means and cannot afford to spend £100 million on six players in the summer.
