Luke Shaw’s injury during Manchester United’s Premier League match against Brentford on Wednesday has left head coach Erik ten Hag uncertain about the severity of the situation.
The left-back was substituted in the 37th minute of the game and appeared to be holding his hamstring before heading down the tunnel for treatment.
With a busy schedule ahead, including seven games before the end of the month, Shaw’s availability for upcoming matches is in doubt.
“In this moment, I can’t give something about it because we have to wait for 24 hours,” Ten Hag told MUTV on Wednesday night. “Then you can make the right diagnosis. So I don’t want to comment in this moment.”
Ten Hag also paid tribute to the team effort that led to their 1-0 victory over Brentford, highlighting the performances of Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Marcel Sabitzer.
Man United are now fourth in the Premier League table, level on points with third-placed Newcastle United.
