Marcel Sabitzer took to Instagram after his first experience of Manchester United following the signing of a loan deal from Bayern Munich.
After the injury sustained by Christian Eriksen, Sabitzer was quickly added to the roster as cover for the pivotal playmaker.
Despite not arriving in time to make his debut for Erik ten Hag’s side, Sabitzer shows his support by watching from the stands at Old Trafford.
The 28-year-old shared an Instagram photo showing him in the crowd with a waving emoji and a caption of ‘hello Manchester United’.
Upon joining, he expressed that it felt like a necessary decision to make, given that he was wanting to win and help United with their goals this season.
Ten Hag commented on how they were delighted with such a transfer, especially on deadline day, as they had been facing shortages in midfield players due to related injuries.
