Manchester City put the pressure on Arsenal in the Premier League title race with a dominant 3-0 victory over Leicester City.
John Stones opened the scoring just five minutes into the game, taking advantage of a failed clearance by Leicester to lash the ball into the back of the net.
Erling Haaland doubled City’s lead from the penalty spot after Wilfred Ndidi handled the ball inside the area.
Haaland then scored his 32nd Premier League goal of the season, controlling a pass from Kevin De Bruyne before dinking the ball over the goalkeeper.
City’s first-half display allowed them to rest players in the second half ahead of their Champions League quarter-final second leg against Bayern Munich.
Despite Leicester scoring a consolation goal, City’s victory cuts the gap at the top of the table to just three points.
Arsenal will be looking to restore their six-point advantage when they face West Ham United on Sunday.
