Manchester City snapped their four-game winless streak in the Premier League with a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.

City looked much more like their old selves despite their recent struggles.

Kevin de Bruyne returned to the starting lineup after a long injury layoff, and his influence was immediate.

City took the lead in the 8th minute when Ilkay Gundogan’s cross was met by De Bruyne’s header, which was finished off by Bernardo Silva.

City should have added a second soon after, but Josko Gvardiol missed with a header.

Gvardiol’s defensive mistakes led to some nervy moments, but goalkeeper Stefan Ortega kept Forest at bay.

City’s dominance continued as De Bruyne scored the second goal after being set up by Jeremy Doku.

Forest had a few chances, but Chris Wood missed a golden opportunity.

Doku sealed the win in the 57th minute with a clinical strike following a Haaland assist.

De Bruyne nearly added another but was substituted in the 74th minute to a standing ovation.
