Manchester United have asked all potential buyers to come to Old Trafford for a presentation, with invitations extended to anyone involved in the sale process.
During these presentations, the opportunities and financial possibilities for Manchester United will be discussed, as well as information on where further income could be generated.
The two leading contenders for buying the Red Devils are Sir Jim Ratcliffe of INEOS and Qatar’s Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, though there may be anonymous bidders present too.
As of yet, none of the offers have reached the Glazer family’s £6bn valuation of Manchester United.
The former owners of AC Milan – Elliot Group – has put forward their willingness to provide funding for either prospective new owners or even for the Glazers should they wish to stay.
Representatives of Ratcliffe are set to arrive in Manchester next week, while Sheikh Jassim’s group will attend a presentation soon after.
After all presentations are held, Raine – who are overseeing the sale – is hoping that bidders will submit revised offers which meet or exceed the Glazers’ price tag.
