Ruben Amorim’s tenure as Manchester United’s head coach started brightly with two wins from his first three matches, including a 4-0 victory over Everton.
However, following that success, Amorim warned that a storm was coming, and it soon arrived as United lost to Arsenal.

Mendes has been a key player for PSG since joining them after winning the Liga Portugal title with Sporting under Amorim in 2021.
However, despite winning multiple Ligue 1 titles with PSG, Mendes has had a limited role under manager Luis Enrique this season.
His current contract at PSG expires in 2026, but he is reportedly unhappy with the club’s contract extension offer.
PSG may be open to selling him at the end of the season for around £58 million if an agreement isn’t reached.
Mendes has also impressed for Portugal, contributing four assists in six Nations League appearances this year.
