According to The Guardian, Manchester United is planning to make an early bid for Tottenham’s star striker, Harry Kane, in the upcoming summer transfer window.
United is eager to sign a striker and believes that Kane’s addition could transform them into title contenders.
Despite Kane having a year left on his contract and Tottenham’s reputation for being tough negotiators, United hopes that making an early offer could prevent a transfer saga.
Kane is currently the second-highest scorer in the Premier League this season, with 28 goals, and has been linked with a move away from Tottenham in the past.
If United is unsuccessful in their pursuit of Kane, they have other options to consider, such as Victor Osimhen of Napoli and Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta.
Additionally, United is looking to strengthen other areas of their team, with Chelsea midfielder Mason Mount under consideration.
Ten Hag’s side is set to launch a £55m bid for Mount, who has also been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool.
