Former Chelsea defender Tino Livramento could be making a return to the club as new manager Mauricio Pochettino eyes a £38 million deal.

Livramento, who currently plays as a right-back for Southampton, has impressed with his performances at St Mary’s.

Chelsea have held talks with Southampton about a potential deal, but there is also the possibility of loaning Livramento back to the Saints.

Despite interest from Newcastle United, Southampton values the 20-year-old at £38 million and has rejected offers.

Livramento was sold by Chelsea for £8 million, but the club included a significant sell-on percentage.

The move to bring Livramento back to Chelsea is unexpected, considering they already have Reece James and new signing Malo Gusto in their squad.
