Step 1: I will assume you have already downloaded mediatek usb vcom drivers from the URL posted above. Extract it content to your desktop using WinZip, 7Zip or any extracting software installed on your Pc.
Step 2: Hold Win + R key to launch the Run dialogue box >> type devmgmt.msc and click on OK or hit Enter key to open up Device Manager. Step 9: On the next screen, select MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM Port and click on Next. Click on Next again to initiate the installation process and select Install this driver software anyway when prompt.
Step 10: Wait for few seconds for the installation to complete. You might see error like this device cannot start. (Code 10), ignore and click on Finish.
