Jamal Musiala’s 85th-minute header earned Bayern Munich a 1-1 draw against Borussia Dortmund in Saturday’s Der Klassiker, maintaining their unbeaten record in the Bundesliga.

Dortmund had taken the lead in the 27th minute through a brilliant individual goal by Jamie Gittens, who sprinted past Bayern’s defense and finished past Manuel Neuer after a well-timed pass from captain Nico Schlotterbeck.

This goal ended Bayern’s eight-match clean-sheet streak.

Bayern were further troubled when Harry Kane was forced off with a hamstring injury in the first half.

Despite this, Bayern controlled much of the second half, but failed to capitalize on their possession.

The game turned in the closing minutes when Jamal Musiala headed home a well-placed cross from Michael Olise.

After Bayer Leverkusen’s victory earlier on Saturday, Bayern’s lead was reduced to seven points.

Eintracht Frankfurt could further reduce the gap to four points with a win over Augsburg on Sunday.

Dortmund’s point moved them back above Freiburg into fifth place, but they remain 10 points behind Bayern Munich.
