The PDP campaign council is disputing the results of the 2023 presidential election in Nigeria, claiming that the APC did not win.

The PDP is countering the narrative that it lost the election because of the departure of Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso to other parties.

The PDP spokesperson, Daniel Bwala, stated in an interview with Arise TV that it is incorrect to suggest that the PDP lost the election because of these departures.

Bwala added that the results uploaded by INEC show that the APC did not win the election.

Despite splinter groups emerging from the PDP, the party still won the election and plans to prove it in court.

Bwala also questioned President Buhari’s submission that opposition parties lost the election due to overconfidence, suggesting that Buhari may be trying to soothe the ego of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
