With current manager Antonio Conte seemingly on his last legs at Tottenham after a verbal tirade about the team following their latest draw with Southampton, Daniel Levy and the north Londoners have reportedly honed in on Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Oliver Glasner to fill the role.
This news comes from German outlet BILD, who also report that contact has been made between Spurs and Glasner.
The 48-year-old Austrian manager has had great success during his time at Eintracht, leading them to victory in the Europa League last season, as well as forming a team that firmly challenges for European places.
He previously spent time at Wolfsburg, taking them into the Champions League during his stint there.
If officially announced, this would make Glasner Tottenham’s first manager since 2007 without any prior Premier League experience – but with Glasner yet to sign a new deal with Eintracht Frankfurt, rumours of his future elsewhere are intensifying.
