Reports suggest Neymar, Paris Saint-Germain forward, has been offered to the English Premier League’s so-called Big Four – Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City.
PSG broke records when they signed Neymar for €222 million in 2017 and since then he has performed well with 17 goals and 16 assists in 28 appearances this season.
However, he is not overly popular amongst PSG’s fan base leading to speculation that they may be willing to part with him if a buyer is found.
It has been suggested Newcastle have also been approached due to their recent purchase by billionaires and further negotiations have reportedly taken place between Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly and PSG’s board.
In addition, Neymar’s representatives are said to have held meetings with Chelsea while Manchester United and Liverpool will look at bringing in some attacking reinforcements soon.
The superstar can seek to recapture his best form come Sunday when PSG take on Lille in Ligue 1 as pressure mounts on head coach Christophe Galtier due to winless streaks of three games.
