Fresh details have emerged regarding the ministerial list submitted by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
According to reports, the Senate has not yet received the final list, despite previous indications that it was ready.
It has been revealed that four names initially included in the list have been withdrawn and replaced with new names.
The delay in submitting the list to the Senate is said to be due to opposition to the choice of Umaru Ganduje as the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairman.
While there were speculations that the list had already been forwarded to the National Assembly, a reliable source has confirmed that they are still awaiting its arrival.
“We are yet to get the final list of the ministerial nominees. If we have received it, the Clerk of the National Assembly would have read it out, there will be no need to keep the list if it is received.”
