The Coalition of South East Youth Leaders (COSEYL) has called for a protest march against President Bola Tinubu in Nigeria.

The protest is in response to the recent hike in fuel prices, which COSEYL describes as gross insensitivity and wickedness.

The group is urging the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC), the Trade Union Congress (TUC), businessmen and women, and all Nigerian students to join the protest.

They are demanding a return to the previous pump price of N198 per litre and expressing their disappointment with the continuous increase in fuel prices.

COSEYL believes that these price hikes are an attempt to impoverish Nigerians and prevent them from challenging the government.

They criticize the few individuals in power who are benefiting while the majority of citizens suffer in poverty.
