Real Sociedad president Jokin Aperribay has firmly stated that Takefusa Kubo is ‘very happy’ at the club, dismissing rumors of negotiations with Liverpool for a potential summer transfer.
Speculation had linked Kubo to Liverpool as a possible replacement for Mohamed Salah, whose contract situation at Anfield remains uncertain.

Aperribay addressed the media on the eve of Sociedad’s pre-season friendly in Japan, firmly stating, ‘There is no issue. There are no negotiations with any club.’
He emphasized that Kubo is happy at Real Sociedad and is expected to remain with the club.
