Rema's 'Calm Down' Enters Guinness World Book of Records

Nigerian musician Divine Ikubor, better known as Rema, has achieved a new milestone in his career by entering the Guinness World Book of Records.

His hit song “Calm Down” has become the first No.1 hit on The Official MENA Chart, which is the world’s first regional streaming chart.

The International Federation of the Phonographic Industry launched the chart on November 29, 2022, and Rema’s song debuted at the top spot.

This recognition marks the first-ever official chart in the Middle East and North Africa, and Rema is credited with securing the first number 1 hit on this chart.

The announcement was made on the singer’s statistics Twitter account on Saturday, and the achievement is a testament to Rema’s talent and growing popularity in the music industry.
